The Black Forest Westfalias experience is a cut above. Black Forest Westfalias are compact, nimble, aesthetic campers that park and drive more like a single cab Toyota pickup than an RV, but can sleep 4 adults and sport a fully functioning, propane-powered kitchenette. Vanagon campers were close to perfection right off the assembly line in Westphalia, but we've poured every ounce of off-road and family camping experience into making these adventure mobiles even better.

All of our Volkswagen camper vans have lifted off-road suspension and are re-powered with Ford Zetec DOHC engines. Bigger wheels and AT tread stretch their off-piste capacity, and each are equipped with auxiliary batteries and upgraded, 3-window canvas tents. With better gas mileage (20-24 MPG), vastly superior engine performance and beefed up suspension, the region's best wild camping spots are yours to discover.

The inside of a Vanagon Westfalia is nothing shy of engineering genius, with a ton a function and not an inch of wasted space. A fully stocked Westy carries 14 gallons of fresh water. It has a sink and faucet. The refrigerator and stove run on propane which, if filled, can last well over a week of camping (daily refrigerator and stove use). The upper and lower bunks are roomy and comfortable, and well-designed cabinetry provides ample space for your gear and supplies.
